Rooibos

Rooibos

Beloved for its naturally robust, nectar-like flavor, our loose leaf rooibos tea is deeply satisfying any time of day. Sourced directly from South Africa’s Cederberg Mountains.

Rooibos has been harvested in South Africa for centuries, first by the indigenous Khoisan people, who brewed its needle-like leaves into a daily drink. In the early 20th century, it was popularized as an alternative to black tea and has since become one of the world’s most beloved herbal infusions.

Sourced directly from the rugged, high-elevation shrublands of South Africa’s Cederberg Mountains—where sandy, rocky soils and dramatic temperature swings between night and day concentrate natural plant sugars—our rooibos is bold and smooth with a honeyed flavor and a deep red liquor. Enjoy this pure botanical tea on its own, hot or iced, or with a slice of lemon for a bright twist.
